DWD#219: Likes Ain't Cash

Daily #219 | Don't be fooled by vanity metrics

Hey there,

A few weeks back, I stumbled upon a guy named JK Molina.

He sold a Twitter side-hobby for $1.4 million.

Now he’s dedicating his time to helping people turn likes into cash.

Why is this useful?

Well, a lot of folks trying to “make it” in the social media or ‘community-building’ game tend to get caught up in vanity metrics (e.g. likes, impressions, engagement).

However, if all those numbers don’t convert to $$$, and you have a business, you got a problem.

If you were born before 2000, you might remember the group TLC. But did you know that, at the height of their career, they were pretty much broke?

Yep. And this tragedy has continued in today’s times.
