So today, I'll share some growth stats from this newsletter experiment.
Around 77 days ago, I started this newsletter to improve my skills as a writer.
Over the last decade, I've tested a few distribution channels - from podcasts to social media to youtube videos.
However, as I learned more and more about business, I realized that there was one thing that never disappeared, no matter how hard people and companies tried to eradicate it: email.
As such, newsletters also saw a rise, fall, and return in the marketer's toolkit.
And when I dug in to see the ROI stats for business-driven newsletters, I was shocked that they were so high:
"Year after year, marketers have reported, on average, a return on investment of $40 for each dollar invested. That’s incredibly efficient and makes emails the best tool to get the most bang for your buck."
This is what led me to use newsletters as a way to:
Improve my writing
Create a new habit
Leverage for potential income
